Wojtek (Voy-Tek) was a Syrian brown bear with a kindred spirit. Bought and enlisted in the Polish army, Wojtek drank beer, smoked cigarettes, and fought on the front lines, moving crates of ammunition for the Allies. After WWII, Wojtek lived the rest of his days at the Edinburgh Zoo.

Wojtek is a band about the likeness of human and animal experience.
